Chicken Mushroom Soup (Chinese Takeaway Style)

Ingredients

  • 325 millilitres light chicken stock
  • Dash light soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon dark soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon MSG
  • Pinch white pepper
  • 50 grams raw chicken breast fillet, sliced (or 1 small handful cooked sliced chicken breast or thigh meat)
  • 2-3 small button mushrooms, sliced

Instructions

  • In a pot, add 325 millilitres light chicken stock, Dash light soy sauce, 1/4 teaspoon dark soy sauce, 1/4 teaspoon sea salt, 1/4 teaspoon MSG and Pinch white pepper. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1 minute.
  • Add 50 grams raw chicken breast fillet, sliced (or 1 small handful cooked sliced chicken breast or thigh meat) and 2-3 small button mushrooms, sliced. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Ladle Chinese takeaway style chicken mushroom soup into a serving bowl and serve.
