To make chopped garlic in oil, the dried garlic is first rehydrated with freshly boiled water, before being drained and fried in oil until golden and aromatic.
Step 1: Soak Garlic
Add 4 tablespoons dried chopped garlic to a bowl and cover with freshly boiled water. Stand for 5 minutes. Drain water and transfer chopped garlic to a small frying pan.
Step 2: Fry Garlic
Cover garlic with sunflower oil. Set frying pan over medium heat and let mix sizzle for 5 minutes. Add 1/8 teaspoon (a pinch) of sea salt as garlic is frying. Set aside to cool completely.
Step 3: Serve / Use Chopped Garlic
