Probably the quickest garlic pizza bread you’ll ever make, this recipe uses plain flour tortillas to create a crispy, garlicky, cheesy pizza bread that rivals any takeaway offering. The prepared pizza bread is cooked briefly in a frying pan to crisp up the base before being finished under a hot grill. The whole thing takes just a few minutes from start to finish and the result is well worth the effort!

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon salted butter at room temperature
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
- Pinch sea salt
- Pinch black pepper
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 2 plain flour tortilla wraps
- 1 handful grated mozzarella cheese (around 75g)
- Pinch dried oregano & black pepper to garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, add salted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, sea salt, black pepper and vegetable oil. Mix well.
- Heat the grill on full heat. Brush a frying pan or crepe pan with a little vegetable oil. Arrange one tortilla in the frying pan. Top with around 1/4 of the grated mozzarella cheese (this will melt during cooking and ensure everything sticks together nicely). Arrange the remaining flour tortilla on top and press down gently.
- Spread the garlic butter over the tortilla and top with the remaining cheese. Put the pan on to the hob over a medium-high heat. Cook for around 2-3 minutes or until the bottom of the pizza bread is golden.
- Slide the garlic pizza bread on to a baking tray. Place under the grill for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbling. Remove the pizza bread from the oven, slide it on to a plate and garnish with a little extra black pepper and some dried oregano. Slice and serve.

This was delicious!!! Thanks so much. My husband got a sudden craving for garlic bread and lockdown does not help the situation be resolved. This tasted better than lots of garlic breads I’ve had will definitely make again.
