I’ve made a lot of bread since I invested in a bread machine. As kitchen gadgets go, it’s one that has more than justified the price I paid for it. As well as making this seeded wholemeal bread from start to finish, I use the bread maker to make pizza dough and chapati dough too. Freshly baked, with a crispy crust and a fluffy, chewy texture, it’s a delicious and healthy everyday staple.

Ingredients For Seeded Wholemeal Bread

To make this seeded wholemeal bread loaf in a bread maker I use a mix of strong wholemeal bread flour and white bread flour. The result is a deliciously light loaf. But, you could use only wholemeal flour for this recipe, albeit making a loaf that’s slightly more dense. With the addition of a variety of seeds, this is a nourishing everyday bread, made easy in a bread machine.
